minutesSangria is a wonderful summertime drink. It’s best served chilled over a layer of ice and can be made with any number of fruits or juices!
Ingredients
2 bottles of red wine (any red wine)
1 cup brandy (such as cognac or brandy)
1/2 cup sugar
Orange
Lemon
Peace
Strawberry
Club Soda
Directions
- Start by slicing your fruit of choice into small pieces (we like apples, peaches, strawberries, and oranges).
- Add the sliced fruit to a pitcher with 1 cup of brandy (or other alcohol), 2 bottles of red wine, and orange juice. The brandy will add more flavor to the Sangria without making it taste too strong
- Stir in your remaining ingredients (e.g., lemon juice, sugar) until combined well and chilled thoroughly before serving.
- You can add club soda while serving or you can skip this step.
